Bury St Edmunds Art Society
Logo Gold - About Page
The Society is a friendly place to join and open to artists who use a wide range of media, including : Watercolours, Oils, Acrylics, Pastels, Drawing, Collage, Linocut, Woodcut and Sculpture

It’s one of the largest and established art societies in Suffolk and welcomes all who are interested in art, as professionals, experienced or amateur

Members include people from all walks of life and their work can be promoted on the Society's website with their own Gallery page

Our programme of demonstration artists or speakers is updated on the website early each year, together with the date and booking form for our annual coach trip to the Mall Galleries in London in the Spring. Seats may be available for non-member friends, so keep a watch for the date and book early to avoid disappointment.

We look forward to seeing you at some or all of our meetings. We like to keep rules to a minimum but please remember that you need to be a paid-up member to take advantage of exhibiting in any Society exhibitions and retaining your Gallery on the Society website

So, when and where do we meet?

On the 2nd Thursday of every month at the Hyndman Centre, in BSE, IP33 3JT with free parking, from 7pm to 9pm

We have members joining us throughout the year so we’ve done a few notes below about pro-rata membership fees to make life easy for you. Any questions? Just come along and speak to any committee member who will be pleased to help you
